Toubani Resources (ASX:TRE) has executed a binding agreement with the State of Mali to strengthen its development activities at the Kobada Gold Project.
The State of Mali will have its interest in Kobada capped at 35% in this agreement, aligning with the state’s commitment to streamlining development work.
The Kobada Project will be governed under the 2023 Mining Code.
Toubani says the agreement confirms its commitment to working in collaboration with the Malian Government to advance Kobada, while reaffirming the project’s Feasibility Study that was released in March 2025.
This agreement follows the beginning of Toubani’s largest ever drilling campaign, conducted at the Kobada Project.
Drilling will span up to 100,000m in 2026, comprising 60,000m of reverse circulation drilling to expand the resource base and 40,000m of aircore drilling to test regional targets, as reported by Mining.com.au.
Toubani Resources is an exploration and development company, focused on advancing the Kobada Gold Project in Mali.
