Torque reports resource ramp-up at Kalgoorlie

Torque Metals (ASX:TOR) confirms it has delivered a 67% increase in contained ounces at its Paris Gold Deposit as part of an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE), bringing the total to 253,000 ounces @ 3.8 grams per tonne gold (Au).

The June 2026 MRE for the project, located in the South Kalgoorlie district, delivers a global resource of 3.47 million tonnes (Mt) @ 3.1g/t Au for 351,000 ounces across three deposits.

The Paris deposit now comprises 2.01Mt @ 3.8g/t Au for 253,000 ounces, representing an increase from the September 2024 estimate of 151,000 ounces.

Meanwhile, the HHH deposit contributes 1.15Mt @ 2.0g/t Au for 73,000 ounces, while the Observation deposit adds 279,000 tonnes @ 2.8g/t Au for 25,000 ounces.

Managing Director Craig Jones says the resource upgrade marks the culmination of drilling efforts over the past two years, with more than 19km drilled in 2026 alone.

“The Paris deposit now forms nearly 72% of the global resource at the … project,” Jones says.

“There is still much work to be done to unlock the full potential of the Paris Gold Project. This begins with focusing on the untested targets within the current resource area, in addition to building our knowledge on the structures and possible linkages that exist between the Paris, HHH, and Observation deposits.”

Torque has incorporated 36,582m of reverse circulation and diamond drilling within growth areas since the 2024 estimate, with 31,914m focused on the Paris deposit.

Notably, the Paris deposit open pit contained ounces have increased by 39% to 156,000 ounces of gold in 2026, with indicated resources ramping up by 243% to 114,000 ounces of gold.

Meanwhile, in the same year, the Paris deposit underground contained ounces increased by 144% to 97,000 ounces, with inferred gold experiencing a 134% boost to 92,000 ounces.

The company says drilling is currently underway targeting systematic resource growth at existing deposits guided by downhole electromagnetic surveys.

It adds that results from recent and ongoing drilling at Paris, HHH, and Observation will be included in the next MRE update.

The Paris Gold Project covers an approximated 57km strike length within an estimated 350km² greenstone belt in the West Australian Goldfields.
