TG Metals (ASX:TG6) has released drill results from reverse circulation drilling at the Van Uden Gold Project in the Southern Cross-Ferrestania Greenstone Belt in Western Australia, with gold mineralisation intersected and the company defining a total strike length of at least 4.3km.
Key results from drilling include:
- 6m @ 5.57 grams per tonne gold from 84m, including 3m @ 10.69g/t gold from 84m
- 6m @ 0.72g/t gold from 27m
- 5m @ 0.79g/t gold from 30m
CEO David Selfe says these final results allow TG Metals to demonstrate the resource growth potential of Van Uden with a continuous strike of 4.3km and strong, ‘high-grade’ gold mineralisation within the current mineral resource estimate (MRE).
“We are also excited that there are early positive indications from the auger drilling to extend the laterite gold resource, with pisolitic laterite sighted from surface,” Selfe says.
“This is an important outcome as we progress the heap leach opportunity for the company. The heap leach is expected to provide material revenue opportunity for the company as we continue to progress the larger production opportunity at Van Uden.”
Four diamond drill core holes at the main Van Uden area still have assays pending. Additional geological logging has been completed, with the core cut for assaying and assay results expected in July 2026.
As previously reported, TG Metals gained drilling approval for the laterite targets outside of the existing MRE in late May 2026. The company reports that this drilling is progressing well as it aims to identify new laterite-hosted gold mineralisation for resource drilling.
A total of 1,053,000 tonnes of mineralised laterite has already been identified at 0.52g/t gold, totalling 17,700 ounces.
TG Metals notes that this material is amenable to heap leach processing on site.
First samples from this program are with the laboratory for analysis, with results expected in July 2026.
TG Metals is an Australian company focused on exploring and developing gold and lithium assets at its wholly owned Lake Johnston Project and 80%-owned Van Uden Gold Project in Western Australia.
