Terrain Minerals (ASX:TMX) has reported gold and silver intersections across all three induced polarisation targets at its Wildflower prospect in Western Australia.
The company completed a 13-hole, 2,276m reverse circulation drilling program at the prospect, located 350km north of Perth within the Smokebush Project.
Gold mineralisation above 0.50 grams per tonne was intersected in eight of 13 holes across the Wildflower, T16, and Cota targets.
Significant results include 1m @ 6.05g/t gold from 171m at Wildflower, 1m @ 4.38g/t gold and 20.34g/t silver from 140m at Cota, and 1m @ 3.99g/t gold and 5.17g/t silver from 148m, also at Cota.
The strongest intercepts occurred below 130m depth, mirroring the narrow and structurally controlled depth profile and ‘high-grade’ mineralisation at Terrain’s nearby Lightning discovery.
Executive Director Justin Virgin says the results validate the company’s targeting methodology using induced polarisation surveys.
“Confirming gold across all three targets at Wildflower suggests to us that the system is real, and seeing it in the same structural setting as Lightning gives us confidence [in] the geological model,” Virgin says.
The Wildflower Prospect sits approximately 3km south of Lightning in the Mt Mulgine system and 10km east of Vault Mining’s Rothsay Gold Mine.
An induced polarisation survey completed in late 2025 identified the three high-priority chargeability targets beneath a 1,000m by 500m gold-in-soil anomaly.
Virgin says the company’s near-term priority remains advancing the Lightning prospect towards a maiden mineral resource estimate, targeted for July 2026.
Terrain Minerals will be attending the RIU Gold Coast Investment Showcase, held between 11 and 12 June, at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa.
