Temas Resources (CSE:TMAS) reports significant gallium, scandium and chromium mineralisation from its 2025 drilling program at the La Blache Project in Québec, Canada.
The nine-hole diamond drilling program intersected thick zones of massive oxide mineralisation, with highlights including 73m at 83.7% iron oxide and titanium oxide, 0.46% vanadium pentoxide, 56 parts per million (ppm) gallium and 19ppm scandium from 110m in hole FT-25-07.
CEO Tim Fernback says the consistency of critical metals within the massive oxide zones is encouraging.
“The consistency of the gallium, scandium, and chromium within the massive oxide zones at La Blache is highly encouraging and adds another layer of potential value to an already strong titanium, vanadium and iron system,” Fernback says.
Other significant intercepts include 75m at 79.8% iron oxide and titanium oxide, 0.43% vanadium pentoxide, 57ppm gallium and 17ppm scandium from 204m in hole FT-25-04.
The company’s western step-out holes FT-25-06 to FT-25-09 confirmed mineralisation extends up to 150m west of historical drilling, where it shallows toward the outcropping Schmoo Zone. The mineralisation remains open toward surface outcrops 500m to the west.
Temas says its proprietary regenerative chloride leach technology platform is well-suited to process the multi-element mineralisation, with potential to recover gallium, scandium and chromium alongside titanium, vanadium and iron.
The company has implemented a new fused bead assay digestion protocol for the 2025 samples, which is now being extended to the historical core. A total of 748 samples from Temas’ 2022 drilling have been dispatched for re-assay under the new protocol.
The La Blache project hosts several deposits within the La Blache Anorthosite complex in Québec’s Grenville Province, including the Farrell-Taylor deposit which contains a foreign inferred resource of 108.8 million tonnes at 17.83% titanium dioxide and 0.32% vanadium pentoxide.
