Tambourah Metals (ASX:TMB) has received results from the high-resolution sub-audio magnetic (SAM) survey and soil sampling completed at its Beatty Park gold discovery north of Meekatharra in Western Australia.
The results have helped to define two new priority drill targets. Target one is characterised by an ultrafine gold-in-soil anomaly extending over 250m along the axis of the structure, with up to 70 parts per billion (ppb) gold recorded in individual samples.
Target two extends for approximately 250m and the ultrafine gold-in-soil anomaly is broad and of lower tenor than target one, with a maximum value of 21ppb gold.
GAP Geophysics helped Tambourah complete a 55km SAM survey, with the data being processed by Resource Potentials with a goal of identifying the underlying structural characteristics of the Beatty Park area.
Next steps will be to focus on systematic drilling to test the newly defined gold targets at Beatty Park South. At target one, approximately 50 aircore holes (for approximately 3,000m) will extend coverage west of current drilling, while target two will see approximately 25 aircore holes (for approximately 1,500m) in an untested structural zone.
An additional 5 reverse circulation drill holes are planned to probe depth extensions beneath high-grade gold already intersected.
Once drilling begins, results will be integrated with SAM geophysics and soil geochemistry to refine structural models and potentially expand the mineralised footprint across the project.
Tambourah is a West Australian explorer, focused on developing gold and critical minerals projects.
