Tambourah Metals (ASX:TMB) has commenced reverse circulation (RC) drilling at its Tambourah Gold Project in Western Australia.
The 2,400m program includes approximately 1,000m of infill drilling at the Tambourah King prospect to support preparation of a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE).
Additional drilling targets the nearby Western Chief, Alexandria, and Young Australian workings to reduce existing wide drill spacing.
The program is expected to be completed within two to three weeks.
The infill work at Tambourah King aims to provide sufficient data for the company’s first MRE at the project.
The program will also test extensions at Western Chief, Alexandria, and Young Australian to better define mineralisation continuity.
“This drilling program is designed to support the preparation of a maiden resource estimate at Tambourah King while also advancing our understanding of the broader project area,” Executive Chairperson Rita Brooks says.
Historical workings at Western Chief, Alexandria and Young Australian indicate past mining activity, with the current drilling aimed at defining modern resource potential.
Results from the program are expected in the coming weeks.
Tambourah Metals is a Western Australian explorer advancing gold and critical mineral projects, including the Tambourah Gold and Shaw River projects in the Pilbara, Speewah North in the Kimberley, and the Bryah project in the Murchison region.
