Silver North to fine-tune Haldane’s drill locations

Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG) is conducting an airborne geophysical survey at the Haldane Silver Project in Yukon, Canada.

The survey will collect magnetics and time domain electromagnetic data, with the aim to provide detailed drill hole targeting by refining the underlying geology as well as help define Haldane’s complex structural architecture.

SkyTEM Canada has been engaged to conduct the survey, which will consist of 100m-spaced flight lines with 1,000m-spaced tie lines for a total of 944 line-kilometres of survey.

CEO Jason Weber says completing this survey early into the season allows for the company to interpret the data and use it to fine-tune drill hole locations.

[It will also] provide a stronger outline of the structural architecture of the vein-hosting faults and potentially illuminate cross structures that we suspect might be present and could host significant silver mineralisation,” Weber says.

The Haldane Project is an underexplored silver property located in the historical Keno Hill Silver District. The 8,164-hectare project hosts structurally controlled silver veins within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun.

Silver North Resources is a mineral explorer focused on precious metal discoveries in Canada.
