SAGA Metals (TSX-V:SAGA) has reported final assay results from its diamond drilling campaign at the Trapper Zone of its Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project in Labrador, Canada.
The results cover the final five holes of the program, designed to support a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE).
The Trapper Zone forms part of an oxide-bearing lopolith that also includes the Falcon and Hawkeye zones, which collectively cover approximately 29km² of the Radar property.
Drilling began in late 2025 and was completed in August 2026, with 85 holes totalling 22,432m drilled across the Trapper North, Transition, and South zones.
According to SAGA, the campaign was the largest in the company’s history, with every hole intersecting oxide mineralisation.
Consistent mineralisation across Trapper
The final five holes, R-0088 to R-0092, continued to intersect titanium, vanadium, and iron mineralisation, including an interval approaching 200m in hole R-0092.
Across the broader program, SAGA reported numerous intervals spanning 100m to 485m of semi-massive oxide mineralisation and rhythmic oxide layering.
Multiple holes also returned oxide-bearing core intervals ranging from 70m to 296m, with selected assay intervals grading 45% to 58% iron oxide, 6% to 8% titanium dioxide, and 0.35% to 0.44% vanadium pentoxide.
“The final five holes delivered the same consistency of titanium, vanadium, and iron mineralisation from surface to depth, including another near-200m run in R-0092,” SAGA Chief Geological Officer and Director Michael Garagan says.
Maiden resource expected soon
With the drilling campaign completed and all assays received, SAGA is now advancing plans to release a maiden MRE for the Trapper Zone.
The company expects to release an NI 43-101 technical report during Q4 2026. GeoGlobal LLC will be responsible for compiling the report.
