SAGA Metals (TSX-V:SAGA) has returned a 495.6m downhole oxide intersection from its Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project in Labrador, Canada, supporting work towards a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE).
Hole R-0085 at the Trapper zone returned 495.6m @ 37.86% iron oxide (Fe₂O₃), 5.51% titanium dioxide (TiO₂), and 0.273% vanadium pentoxide (V₂O₅).
The result includes 68.2m @ 52.95% Fe₂O₃, 8.57% TiO₂, and 0.381% V₂O₅. The company estimates the true thickness of this ‘higher-grade’ interval at 62.1m.
CGO and Director Michael Garagan says R-0085 and the previously reported 470m intersection in R-0072 help demonstrate continuity along the same drill section.
“Section N11 is the picture we have been drilling toward,” Garagan says.
“They are two thick, overlapping cuts through the same layered system.”
The latest six-hole assay batch also includes R-0084, which returned 80.9m @ 36.58% Fe₂O₃, 6.07% TiO₂, and 0.201% V₂O₅.
Hole R-0087 added 43.1m @ 46.24% Fe₂O₃, 7.87% TiO₂, and 0.279% V₂O₅.
Final assays to complete resource dataset
The diamond drilling program began in the December quarter of 2025 and finished in August, totalling 22,432m across 85 holes.
Results have now been reported for 80 holes. Laboratory analysis of the remaining samples is complete, with SAGA expecting to release assays from the final five holes within a week.
The company has engaged GeoGlobal to prepare the independent MRE and technical report. The drilling data will support modelling of the oxide layers, folds, and mineralised thicknesses at Trapper.
Trapper forms part of a 29km² oxide-bearing intrusive body that also hosts the Falcon and Hawkeye zones. The wholly owned Radar property lies near Cartwright and has year-round road access.
