Riversgold expands golden footprint in Kalgoorlie

Riversgold (ASX:RGL) has intersected shallow gold mineralisation from the Kalgoorlie Gold Project, expanding their gold footprint in Western Australia.

The company has received results from the 16 drillholes from the project, which is located 25km east of Kalgoorlie. Riversgold expects to begin another round of drilling on 10 February 2026.

Assays received include 4m @ 4.09 grams per tonne gold from 54m, 1m @ 4.15g/t gold from 46m, 1m @ 4.82g/t from 43m, and 8m @ 1.23g/t from 44m.

The company also says that the signing of the heritage agreement is a major step forward as they convert the tenement into a mining lease.

Exploration Director Ed Mead says the results of the 2025 drilling campaign are “excellent” and continue to excite the company.

“Overall, the outcomes from the 2025 drilling have been very effective in enlarging the shallow, oxide gold footprint at our Kalgoorlie Gold Project, and strengthening the MEGA Resources mining scenario for 2026,” he says.

“We are consistently achieving the goal of making the project bigger in the oxide zone and we will continue to make this shallow gold project significantly bigger.”

Riversgold is an exploration company focused on copper and gold in Australia and Canada.
