Revolver Resources (ASX:RRR) has awarded key contracts to advance the Dianne Copper Mine Project in northwest Queensland ahead of a final investment decision (FID).
The company has appointed local Cape York contractor, CEMACC, to conduct all development civil earthworks before transitioning to operations, including mining, crushing, and leach pad loading.
Major equipment will be supplied by the contractor and is expected to arrive on site in the coming weeks. Equipment will include two hydraulic excavators, a dozer, a grader, four dump trucks, and water and support trucks.
Civil earthworks will begin promptly after Revolver returns a positive FID for the project.
Meanwhile, the company has completed accommodation village and site access road upgrades at the project to enable the inflow of supplies and equipment required for the construction and operation of Dianne. The road is now traversable by heavy haul trucks.
At the accommodation village, Revolver has completed refurbishment, upgrade, and expansion activities to initially support 25 workers during construction.
The FID is expected to be returned in the coming months and is subject to funding. Revolver expects its first copper cathode output within 12 months from the FID.
