Renegade Exploration (ASX:RNX) Chairman Robert Kirtlan says the company is targeting new investors and advisory groups at this year’s RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle, Western Australia.
Speaking to Mining.com.au ahead of the conference next month, Kirtlan explains that the conference is well supported by local investors and broking houses, a key feature of the event for Renegade.
“Gaining exposure to these groups is important,” Kirtlan tells this news service.
“Fremantle is one of the best events on the RIU calendar and provides exposure to the important West Australian market.”
Held at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges in Western Australia, the RIU Explorers Conference is running from 17-19 February 2026.
Renegade is one of many explorers presenting at the three-day conference. Kirtlan will be presenting on behalf of the company on Wednesday 18 February at 8.30am AWST.
Preparing for the presentation, Kirtlan told Mining.com.au that the presentation will cover the company’s three deposits. With assets prospective for copper, zinc, and critical minerals, the Chairman says the company’s three deposits provide significant leverage with “advanced drill ready projects”.

North America focus
Renegade has pinpointed a specific focus on its North American portfolio for the year ahead, describing its Yukon Project in Canada as a “potential company maker”, comprising 1,554 mineral claims over 305km2.
The Yukon Project holds a resource estimate of 12.56 million tonnes @ 5.3% zinc and 0.9% lead. Renegade has conducted more than 40,000m of drilling for 350 holes at the project since 2007, uncovering three separate zinc deposits.
Over in the US, Renegade is continuing to assess funding opportunities for development at its Nevada-based deposits, as reported by Mining.com.au.
Previously speaking to this news service, Kirtlan described the company to be optimistic in funding options for its Nevada assets, creating a year full of opportunities for discovery.
At the Broken Hills Project in Nevada, the company recorded rock chips up to 1,013 grams per tonne of silver and 8.6g/t of gold earlier this month, as reported.
The results have confirmed and extended the extent of a known silver-gold zone within the project.
This follows on from rock chip samples of 2,469g/t silver and 5.36g/t gold; 1,484g/t silver and 6.67g/t gold; and 1,464g/t silver and 6.99g/t gold.
Renegade’s main objectives for 2026 are to conduct drilling at the Myschka gold-silver prospect within the Yukon Project, as well at one or two projects within the company’s Nevada portfolio.
US tensions rise
It is unclear how this year will shape up for US-based mining projects, with geopolitical issues continuing to rise for trade markets.
US President Donald Trump has declared plans to take possession over Greenland, claiming that the US would impose 10% tariffs on Denmark as well as seven other European nations until a deal between the US and Greenland is struck in favour of the acquisition.
Renegade does not fear the challenges that arise from geopolitical tensions yet, remaining confident in the US assets.
“It’s unknown at the moment and Trump is always up for a double or even triple bluff,” Kirtlan adds.
“There might be more to this than meets the eye so I will watch and wait with interest right now.”
Greenland has a strengthened connection to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), acting as one of the most consequential aspects of the country’s security and international position.
As reported by Mining.com.au, Greenland is open to enhanced cooperation and dialogue with partners, including America, according to the country’s foreign policy strategy.
Renegade Exploration is an Australian based exploration and development company with assets in both Australia and North America.
The company will be in attendance at RIU Fremantle, held in Western Australia from 17-19 February. Mining.com.au is a media partner for the conference.
