Aftermath Silver (TSX-V:AAG) has completed the acquisition of the Berenguela Silver-Copper-Manganese Project in Peru.
In late November 2025, the company fulfilled the final payment obligation and, as such, 100% of the project was transferred to Aftermath.
CEO Ralph Rushton says this acquisition is a key step in the company’s development into becoming a producing mining company and an important supplier of critical minerals.
“We are looking forward to the next 12 months as we intend to advance our engineering studies while concurrently drilling our key exploration targets,” Rushton says.
Executive Chairman Michael Williams adds that having secured the project, as well as having its Chilean silver project, Aftermath believes it is now a prominent silver developer that can potentially supply highly sought after co-products – copper and manganese.
Recent drilling has been conducted on the project, focusing on infilling of the historical mineral resource to convert inferred to measured and indicated resources.
A phase three drilling program is currently underway at the Berenguela Project, focusing on exploring untested areas, drilling out areas envisaged as initial sites of future mining to complement studies, and to drill the southwest intrusive target.
Aftermath Silver is a Canadian junior explorer focused on silver and critical minerals, with the aim to discover, acquire, and develop projects in stable mining jurisdictions.
