Noronex Limited (ASX: NRX) has unveiled a series of ‘high-grade’ copper intercepts following an RC drilling campaign at the Daheim prospect within its Witvlei Project in Namibia.
The results have displayed ‘thick, high-grade’ copper mineralisation across ‘numerous’ shallow depths at Daheim, with individual grades up to 3.3% Cu. Grades include:
- Hole 22DHRC06: 27m @ 1.6% Cu from 42m inc. 6m @ 2.9% Cu
- Hole 22DHRC04: 29m @ 0.7% Cu from 113m inc. 4m @ 3.3% and 10m @ 1.0% Cu from 162m
- Hole 22DHRC02: 31m @ 0.7% Cu from 68m inc. 7m @ 1.7% Cu
The holes are displaying a number of mineralised intervals, with 22DHRC04 reporting without dilution 153m @ 0.39% from 34m, as well as drill hole 22DHRC06 reporting 112m @ 0.44% Cu from 42m.
The company notes that this recently-discovered copper mineralisation dips steeply to the south, however no orientated core is available to further understand the mineralisation style.
Additional drilling conducted towards the east and west of the Daheim prospect has resulted in a number of shallow-depth copper horizons with assays returning grades up to 0.9%, and a 1.2km strike of mineralisation leading to the west.
Samples from the additional drill holes have been taken for further testing to establish continuity and prospectivity between the zones, and to assist with target generation for the next phase of drilling.

The Snowball Joint venture project has also reported a recent drilling campaign consisting of nine holes has now been completed for 1,758m on its eastern tenement.
With the drilling at Witvlei now complete, the Noronex reports that it may move forward with a diamond drill campaign pending further positive assay results.
