Horizon Minerals (ASX:HRZ) General Manager of Corporate Development Christian Price describes the company as the “next significant gold producer in the Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie Western Australian Goldfields”, speaking to Mining.com.au.
The company is targeting increased investor awareness of its ongoing operations in Western Australia at the RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle.
Horizon is presenting at 2.15pm AWST on the second day of the conference, which is held from 17-19 February at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges in Western Australia.
“RIU is a fantastic conference to connect directly with explorers and developers on the ASX, meet and talk to the company leaders and their key team members,” Price says.
Horizon will be discussing the outcome of the Black Swan studies in its presentation, which increased the project’s gold ore processing capacity from 1.5 million tonnes per annum to 2.2 million.
The company is currently working towards an upcoming front end engineering design study and final investment decision.

Price tells Mining.com.au that the presentation will “demonstrate Horizon Minerals is in a strong position to expedite the strategy to convert the Black Swan Processing Hub commencing in 2026 through to completion in 2027”.
Horizon will also reintroduce the Nimbus Silver Project to investors, describing the asset as an “opportunity in a strong silver market”.
According to Trading Economics, silver was marked at US$76.73 ($110.23) per ounce on 5 February 2026, representing a 137.78% increase for this year over year, though down 33.83% in the past week.
The Nimbus Project holds 6.6 million ounces @ 774 grams per tonne silver, within a broader resource of 20 million ounces @ 52g/t silver.
“I believe there will be continued strong performance of precious metals, and key critical minerals,” Price tells this news service.
“Strong silver prices will continue on the back of a 5-year supply deficit and increased demand from application in built out solar capacity.
“The gold sector will continue to outperform and the market will be closely looking at the gold developers and they progress to producers, re-rating them in a buoyant gold market.”
Gold was priced at US$4,880 per ounce on 5 February, down from its record-breaking high the previous week of US$5,530, as reported by Mining.com.au. The precious metal has seen a 69.89% increase for this year over year.
Horizon Minerals is an emerging mid-tier gold producer focused on projects in the west Australian goldfields.
The company is presenting at the RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle, Western Australia being held from 17-19 February. Mining.com.au is an official media partner of this year’s event.
