Monadelphous lands $150 million contract haul

Monadelphous Group (ASX:MND) has secured approximately $150 million in resources-sector contracts with Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO), BHP Group (ASX:BHP), and Whitehaven Coal (ASX:WHC).

The engineering company has received a four-year contract to continue providing maintenance services and completing minor projects across Rio Tinto’s marine infrastructure at the Dampier and Cape Lambert ports in Western Australia.

Monadelphous will also establish and maintain temporary non-process infrastructure for BHP Group at the Ministers North Project in WA’s Pilbara region.

Work under the BHP contract is expected to be completed in mid-2028.

A separate three-year contract covers shutdown services across Whitehaven Coal’s mines in Queensland and New South Wales. The agreement includes an option to extend the term by another two years.

Monadelphous has not disclosed the value of each contract or the expected timing of revenue recognition.

The latest awards lift the value of new contracts announced by Monadelphous since 1 July to more than $830 million, including major work for BHP and Rio Tinto.

Monadelphous is a Perth-based engineering company providing construction and maintenance services to the resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
