Medallion extends Gem deposit at Ravensthorpe

Medallion Metals (ASX:MM8) has extended the Gem deposit east and at depth following drilling at the Kundip Mining Centre, part of its Ravensthorpe Gold Project in Western Australia.

The drilling tested targets outside the current mineral resource and confirmed mineralisation down-plunge from historical workings.

Medallion says the lodes dip steeply south and may occupy a fault-controlled geological domain distinct from the main Gem lode and the recently identified Hillsborough Deeps lode.

Result highlights from Gem include 4.92m @ 15.5 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) and 0.9% copper (Cu) from 394.09m in DD26KP1313, including 0.3m @ 204g/t Au and 7% Cu from 395.09m, 3.29m @ 16.5g/t Au and 0.6% Cu from 371.63m in DD26KP1297, including 1.44m @ 36.5g/t Au and 1.2% Cu from 371.63m, and 0.27m @ 97g/t Au and 0.5% Cu from 88.47m in DD26KP1272.

Drilling at the nearby Harbour View deposit returned 3.74m @ 11.6g/t Au and 0.3% Cu from 384m and 2m @ 18.9g/t Au and 0.7% Cu from 117m.

“Together with the emerging footwall lode position at Gem, these results increase our confidence that this part of the deposit has the potential to support future mine life extensions,” Managing Director Paul Bennett says.

Results reported to date cover approximately 10,870m of the 15,762m completed during the 2026 drilling program. Assays remain pending for approximately 5,000m, primarily from grade-control drilling at Gem.

Medallion says it plans to test downhole electromagnetic conductors at Harbour View and the interpreted Hillsborough Deeps position. The company is also planning further resource-extension drilling at depth at Gem and Harbour View.

Development planning at Ravensthorpe is continuing alongside tender processes for civil works and underground mining services.
