Manuka manoeuvres around Mt Boppy mineralisation

Manuka Resources (ASX:MKR) is streamlining a drilling campaign across its Mt Boppy Project in the Cobar Basin of New South Wales, which will start in the first week of December 2025.

The company will conduct drilling at the Mt Boppy Gold Mine and the Pipeline Ridge prospects.

Drilling at Mt Boppy intends to target extensions to gold mineralisation at depth, as well as new discoveries, with an initial three holes to be drilled to a depth of 500m at the existing resource and a similarly structured target to Mt Boppy, located 1,000m south.

The mine historically produced around 500,000 ounces of gold grading at 15 grams per tonne, with previous drilling proving the mine to be open along strike and depth.

Over at the Pipeline Ridge gold prospects, Manuka will conduct 3,165m of shallow drilling to a depth of 60m at a previously identified target.

The Pipeline Ridge exploration target is prospective for gold mineralisation close to the surface, previously returning between 187,000 and 365,000 tonnes of gold grading between 1.1 and 1.5g/t.

The prospects are located 28km south of the Mt Boppy Gold Mine.

Executive Chairman Dennis Karp says Mt Boppy and Pipeline Ridge is “highly prospective” for gold mineralisation due to historical exploration.

“Drilling is scheduled to commence in December 2025 with assays expected to be received and reported during Q1 of 2026,” Karp says.

Meanwhile, the company says it is focused on restarting the Wonawinta Silver Mine and processing plant within the next six months.

As reported by Mining.com.au, Manuka recently conducted a $15 million capital raise to reduce future debt burden that may arise from the Wonawinta restart.

Manuka Resources is an Australian mining and exploration company with key assets located in the Cobar Basin in central west New South Wales.
