Manuka commences drilling at Mt Boppy

Manuka Resources (ASX:MKR) has launched its Mt Boppy gold exploration program, targeting three drill holes at approximately 500m depth.

Historic drilling at Mt Boppy delivered approximately 500,000 ounces of gold grading around 15g/t. The current exploration program seeks to uncover extensions of similar grade and geological structures, as a way to confirm the mineralisation of the mine.

The Pipeline Ridge Gold Prospect, approximately 28km south of the Mt Boppy Mine, is undergoing an extensive 3,165m shallow reverse circulation (RC) drill program, targeting a previously identified target between 187kt and 265kt, grading between 1.1g/t and 1.5g/t gold.

Executive Chairman Dennis Karp notes that it is an “exciting time” for the company as they progress exploration at both Mt Boppy and the Pipeline Ridge Gold Prospect.

“Mt Boppy has only been mined to depths of around 200m and the majority of drilling to date has targeted near-mine extensions to depths of 250m,” Karp says.

“Exploration success consistent with historical results will obviously be significant for the company.”

Manuka also remains focused on restarting the Wonawinta Silver Mine and processing plant in Q2 2026, with an upcoming drill program representing the first steps in growing their 10-year Cobar Basin production plan.
