Lithium Universe’s (ASX:LU7) wholly owned subsidiary Lithium Universe Holdings has traversed the globe to establish an office in Montreal, Canada.
This office will enable the company to strategically grow its presence in the province of Quebec as it aims to become a ‘major’ lithium company in the emerging lithium district.
Further, the office will also enable the company to streamline its operations with key stakeholders in the region — such as engineering partners HATCH and Primero Group (ASX:PGX) — as Lithium Universe continues to develop its Quebec Processing-Hub Strategy.
Lithium Universe, which has a market capitalisation of $22.70 million, has decided to establish a permanent presence in Quebec after the recent appointment of Victoria Vargas as Lithium Universe Director.
Vargas will be based out of the Quebec office and is responsible for strengthening Lithium Universe’s exposure to international capital markets and also facilitating corporate development opportunities.
Lithium Universe is an ASX-listed lithium resources company with a refinery facility in Canada. The company provides critical materials for batteries, helping the world transition towards cleaner energy.
As of 30 September 2023, the company had $3.010 million cash and cash equivalents at hand, according to its latest quarterly report.
