Kingsgate Consolidated’s (ASX:KCN) Chatree Gold Mine which produced more than 8,700 ounces of gold and more than 64,400 ounces of silver during July – represents the highest monthly production rate since operations began in March 2023.
CEO Jamie Gibson says the company is off to a “cracking start” for FY2026.
“These figures showcase the hard work and commitment of our operations team to deliver continuous improvements at Chatree,” Gibson says.
During the June quarter, the mine had produced 20,278 ounces of gold, taking the annual gold production to 74,661 ounces for FY2025.
In conjunction, 166,807 ounces of silver were produced during the quarter, bringing the total silver production to 625,698 ounces in FY2025.
The Chatree Gold Mine, located in Thailand, had been operating since 2001 and produced 1.8 million ounces of gold and 10 million ounces of silver up until 2016.
During 2017-2021, the mine was not operating when a key processing licence had not been renewed.
The Chatree Gold Mine has a mineral resource of 3.8 million ounces of gold and 30.5 million ounces of silver, with an ore reserve of 1.24 million ounces of gold and 11.5 million ounces of silver.
The company is exhibiting at this year’s Diggers and Dealers Mining Forum, which is running from 4-6 August 2025, held in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Mining.com.au is again attending the event.
