Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (ASX:KAL) has begun drilling activities at its Pinjin Gold Project in Western Australia.
The $4.9 million market capitalisation company says 2 holes were completed on Wednesday 6 September on the northern side of the Kirgella Gift prospect.
Drilling aims to extend thick, shear-hosted gold mineralisation at Kirgella Gift along strike and down plunge.
The program also aims to confirm historic results at the Providence prospect around 300 to 500m further south

Kirgella Gift and Providence are the first targets to be tested at the company’s extensive Pinjin Gold Project. The project covers a substantial portion of the southern part of the ‘highly prolific’ Laverton Tectonic Zone.
Kalgoorlie Gold Mining is an ASX-listed resources company, focused on its ‘large’ portfolio of Western Australian projects. As of 30 June 2023, the company had $2.65 million cash at hand and no debt, according to its latest quarterly report.
