Global Lithium provides MDCP for Manna

Global Lithium Resources (ASX:GL1) has submitted a mining development and closure proposal (MDCP) for the Manna Lithium Project in Western Australia to the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration.

Managing Director Dianmin Chen says the proposal will allow the company to progress in de-risking and advancing the project for a final investment decision.

“This detailed proposal reflects our thorough planning across the entire project lifecycle, from development through to effective closure, and acknowledges the expectations of our community partners, the Kakarra People,” Chen said.

The MDCP supplies the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration with a detailed plan for developing essential infrastructure at the project.

Approval will allow the company to progress with developing components of the project, such as the accommodation village, open pits, processing plant, and access roads.

The proposal has a full mine closure strategy that aligns with environmental stewardship.

Global Lithium has also appointed Wei Xie as Project Director, Tony Itzstein as a Contracts Manager, and Phoebe Yan as Marketing Manager to the project leadership team.

Global Lithium Resources is a diversified exploration and development company with multiple assets in lithium-branded jurisdictions, focusing on its wholly owned Manna Lithium Project.
