Forrestania Resources (ASX:FRS) has completed eight reverse circulation holes for 1,858m at its British Hill Gold Project in Western Australia.
Drilling has extended mineralisation up-dip to the east. Hole 26BHRC013 returned 4m @ 7.46g/t gold (Au) from 124m, including 1m @ 22.76g/t Au from 125m. The same hole also returned 1m @ 22.98g/t Au from 141m.
Hole 26BHRC015 returned 7m @ 5.69g/t Au from surface, including 1m @ 17.89g/t Au.
“These latest results continue to reinforce our confidence in the British Hill deposit, with drilling successfully extending mineralisation both up-dip and at depth while returning multiple high-grade gold intercepts,” Chairman David Geraghty says.
A further program of work is awaiting approval, with the intent once granted to immediately commence further drilling.
Importantly, British Hill is already located on a granted mining lease, with ore already being trucked to our Lake Johnston processing hub.
The British Hill Project sits on granted Mining Lease M77/1256, located 75km southeast of Southern Cross in the Yilgarn Mineral Field.
Gold mineralisation occurs within ‘high-grade’ quartz veins developed in response to a syn-mineralisation strain regime.
Forrestania is targeting an updated mineral resource estimate for British Hill in the coming weeks. The company awaits approval for a further program of works to immediately commence additional drilling once granted.
