EV Resources (ASX:EVR) has acquired the Don Enrique Copper-Silver Project in Peru through the purchase of remaining shares in Minera Montserrat.
The company acquired the remaining 50% of shares in the holder of Don Enrique for US$150,000 ($209,080), providing EV with four exploration licences over 1,800 hectares.
EV intends to merge Minera Montserrat with its wholly owned subsidiary, Coripuquio, allowing Minera Montserrat to hold 2,684 hectares of tenure.
The company has completed field work activities at Don Enrique such as geochemical sampling, geophysics, and permitting campaigns.
EV CEO Mike Brown says securing whole ownership over Don Enrique will allow the company to unlock the “full value of this asset” for shareholders.
“By consolidating the Estrella claims with Don Enrique, we have created a continuous 5.5km strike of prospective ground covering a massive, undrilled induced polarisation anomaly,” Brown says.
“With copper, silver, and gold prices seeing significant growth, owning 100% of this ‘drill-ready’ asset provides EVR with maximum optionality to create shareholder value while we concentrate our primary resources on the urgent critical minerals supply gap in the North American antimony market.”
EV Resources is a critical minerals and development company, focused on the North American antimony supply chain.
