Diablo Resources (ASX:DBO) reports rock sampling results at its Horn Silver Project in Utah, US, with grades including 4,190 grams per tonne silver and 18.05g/t gold.
The company collected 66 reconnaissance rock samples across unpatented claims, confirming multiple ‘high-grade’ polymetallic zones across four key prospects.
At Buckhorn, the standout sample returned 4,190g/t silver (Ag), 1.40g/t gold (Au), and 2.41% copper (Cu), with additional samples returning 490g/t Ag and 310g/t Ag.
Washington delivered multiple ‘high-grade’ intercepts across a 950m west-northwest trending corridor, including 1,730g/t Ag with 5.74g/t Au, 1,475g/t Ag with 7.57g/t Au and 3.37% Cu, and 631g/t Ag with 8.45g/t Au and 6.27% Cu.
At Accrington, multiple samples returned copper grades above 1%, with standout results of 985g/t Ag with 6.99% Cu and 861g/t Ag with 4.16% Cu.
Michigan returned ‘significant’ gold mineralisation over 250m along a northerly trending fault zone, including 18.05g/t Au with 199g/t Ag and 2.07% Cu, and 6.23g/t Au with 2.14% Cu.
CEO Lyle Thorne says the sampling has confirmed multiple zones of anomalous silver, gold, copper, and antimony while outlining newly emerging mineralised corridors.
“The first-pass reconnaissance sampling program within the unpatented claims at Horn materially strengthened Diablo’s critical-minerals exploration target pipeline […] while outlining several newly emerging structural and geochemical mineralised corridors across the project,” Thorne says.
The sampling also returned highly anomalous results for zinc (up to 30%), lead (up to 20%), molybdenum (up to 0.35%), and tungsten (up to 0.17%).
The Horn Silver Project comprises 101 patented and 101 unpatented claims in Utah’s Frisco Mining District, hosting the historic Horn Silver Mine, which produced 17 million ounces of silver at 604g/t silver.
The US has included silver and copper on its 2025 List of Critical Minerals, with antimony, lead, and zinc also recognised.
Diablo Resources is an Australian explorer advancing a portfolio of US-focused silver, gold, and copper projects in Utah, Nevada, and Idaho, including the King Solomon and Devil’s Canyon projects.
