Decade Resources (TSX-V:DEC) is planning a 2027 exploration program to find the bedrock source of ‘bonanza’ gold-rich boulders at its Nobody Knows claim in British Columbia, Canada.
Selective boulder samples from two locations along a logging road east of Terrace returned up to 79.12 grams per tonne gold (Au) and 927g/t silver (Ag). Of 21 samples, 15 graded above 10g/t Au, and nine graded above 30g/t Au.
Sample 24-Jn-4 returned 17.04g/t Au with 927g/t Ag, 27.15% zinc, 7.93% lead, and 2.32% copper. Meanwhile, Sample 24-Jn-5 returned 79.12g/t Au with 690g/t Ag.
The boulders also carry arsenic, bismuth, and cobalt. Decade notes this association is common in intrusion-related gold systems, where gold-bearing veins form above small intrusions.
A 2026 very low frequency (VLF) survey outlined a class A conductor beside the boulder area. Seven consecutive 2025 soil samples averaged 79 parts per billion (ppb) gold over 165m, peaking at 1,248ppb, the highest of 415 soils.
A silt sample returned 132 parts per million (ppm) arsenic, the highest value of the 2025 program.
The boulders are angular and locally derived. The company that built the road confirmed it brought in no fill from another source.
President Ed Kruchkowski says the coincident anomalies give the company a clear starting point.
“Boulders of this grade do not come from nowhere,” Kruchkowski notes.
“Between the grades, the pathfinder signature, and a class A conductor sitting right beside the boulder area, this has become a priority target for the company.”
Nobody Knows forms part of 59 contiguous claims covering 28,723.18 hectares, all 100% owned by Decade. The claims sit 10–40km east of Terrace. The company cautions that the samples are selective float and do not represent the metal content of any source.
More than 300 rock samples from the 2026 program await inductively coupled plasma (ICP) analysis. The 2027 program will evaluate the coincident geochemical and VLF area, including drilling of any mineralisation located.
At the Bonaparte copper-gold property near Kamloops, DDH-BN-6 is complete. The drill has moved about 1.1km northeast to DDH-BN-7. Assays from completed Bonaparte holes remain pending.
The company has a market capitalisation of about C$34.9 million ($35.5million).
Decade Resources is a Canadian explorer advancing a portfolio of copper, gold, silver, and base metals projects across the Golden Triangle in northern British Columbia.
