Cruz Battery lights up Solar’s maiden resource

Cruz Battery Metals (CSE:CRUZ) has received a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for its Solar lithium clay deposit in Nevada’s Big Smokey Valley in the US.

Using a 300 parts per million (ppm) lithium cut-off, the MRE comprises 49.63 million tonnes at 608ppm lithium for 161,000 tonnes of indicated lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) and 183 million tonnes at 539ppm lithium for 525,000 tonnes of inferred LCE.

The base-case scenario using a 500 ppm cut-off delivers 35 million tonnes at 697ppm lithium for 128,000 tonnes of indicated LCE and 103 million tonnes at 641ppm lithium for 352,000 tonnes of inferred LCE.

The company’s Nevada lithium portfolio includes the 4,938-acre Solar Project, 240-acre Clayton Valley lithium brine Project and 580-acre Central Clayton Valley Lithium Brine Project.

Cruz Battery Metals also holds the South Advocate Hydrogen Project in Nova Scotia and the Sterling South gold-copper project in Ontario.

As previously reported, the company acquired the 5,000-acre South Advocate Hydrogen Project in Canada, which directly broadens Québec Innovative Material’s projects in Nova Scotia.

Cruz Battery Metals is currently planning to start a work program on the project as soon as possible.

Cruz Battery Metals is a battery metals-focused and hydrogen explorer focused on its portfolio of assets across Canada and the US.
