Blast Resources (CSE:BLST) has identified a ‘strong’ uranium and thorium anomaly at its Wales Lake Uranium Project in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The anomaly trends north-south and extends for approximately 12km across claim MC00019518 on the southwest side of the Athabasca basin.
CEO Casey Forward says the discovery represents important progress for the company.
“The newly identified anomaly at Wales Lake represents a significant step forward in our efforts of delivering valuable results for our shareholders,” Forward says.
“We’re confident that this anomaly will provide us with invaluable information that can be leveraged during a future work program.”
The Wales Lake project also contains seven faults, shears, or conductors identified from historic information within the claims.
Recent geophysical surveys and modelling reveal the Clearwater domain extends deeper than previously known at approximately 22km and dips beneath several Patterson Lake corridor deposits, which host the Triple R and Arrow deposits.
