Barton Gold begins trading on OTCQB and Frankfurt exchanges

Gold explorer and developer Barton Gold (ASX:BGD) has begun trading on the OTCQB market and the Frankfurt stock exchange today (15 August 2023).

The $44.91 million market capitalisation company is trading under the respective ticker codes OTCQB:BGDFF and FRA:BGD3.

Commenting on the expansion of accessible trading platforms for the company’s shares, Barton Gold Managing Director Alex Scanlon says: “During the past year, we have received significant interest to purchase Barton shares from North American and European investors who can find it challenging, or are unable, to trade ASX securities.

“We are therefore pleased to open up more convenient avenues for trading in the company’s shares to a wider international audience

We are therefore pleased to open up more convenient avenues for trading in the company’s shares to a wider international audience via the OTC and Frankfurt markets.”

The company says cross-listing to the OTCQB and Frankfurt exchanges offers several advantages for US-based and European investors, including quotes, trades, and settlements in US Dollars and Euro, and trading during normal market hours in North America and Western Europe.

No new shares have been issued to facilitate the quotation.

Barton Gold is a gold exploration company with a pipeline of ‘advanced’ exploration projects and brownfield mines in South Australia. The company’s portfolio of assets includes the Tarcoola and Tunkillia projects and the Central Gawler Mill.
