Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) has extended the Fiama North lode by 160m along strike and 200m below surface through ongoing drilling at the Minyari Gold-Copper Project in Paterson Province, Western Australia.
The company has returned results from 15 reverse circulation drill holes covering 3,352m, with this first batch of assay results sourced from the broader Fiama area.
Of these, 10 holes tested the recently identified Fiama North lode. Fiama and the northern lode remain open in all directions.
Intersections include 26m @ 1.5 grams per tonne gold (Au) and 0.09% copper (Cu) from 275m, including 3m @ 2.2g/t Au and 0.10% Cu from 277m, and 10m @ 2.6g/t Au and 0.12% Cu from 290m; 22m @ 0.9g/t Au and 0.23% Cu from 135m, including 1m @ 3.8g/t Au and 0.11% Cu from 135m; and 10m @ 1.3g/t Au and 0.22% Cu from 147m.
Managing Director Roger Mason says the first batch of assays from the 2026 drilling campaign has delivered a “strong start”.
“Fiama continues to show very high potential within the broader Minyari Dome mineral system, with these results suggesting strong potential for further resource growth,” Mason says.
“The CY2026 program is focused on extending known areas of mineralisation in parallel with testing a series of priority discovery opportunities across our 100%-owned Minyari Project, including the Tim’s Dome, AL01, and Mollie targets.”
The broader 2026 drilling campaign is focused on identifying new discoveries and growing existing deposits.
Antipa currently has three rigs drilling at the GEO-01 Main Zone, Tim’s Dome, and AL01 prospects.
The company is conducting reverse circulation drilling at the Tim’s Dome prospect, which is located around 30km southwest of Minyari. Aircore drilling began at the AL01 gold-copper corridor in late June and diamond drilling is underway at the GEO-01 Main Zone prospect.
“We are now actively drilling at both Tim’s Dome and AL01, providing shareholders with multiple near-term exploration catalysts across a district-scale gold-copper project in one of Australia’s most strategically important mineral provinces,” Mason adds.
Antipa has received multiple grants from the Western Australian Government under its Exploration Incentive Scheme, totalling $400,000. The grants have been awarded to help cover drilling costs.
Antipa Minerals is a gold and copper mineral exploration and development company with assets mostly based in Western Australia’s Paterson Province.
The company will be attending the Noosa Mining Investor Conference, held from 22–24 July, at Peppers Noosa Resort, Noosa Heads, Queensland.
