Anglo American’s Copper Crash: Mining Minute December 11

In today’s mining minute, Anglo American (LON:AAL) shares nosedived nearly 20% on Friday after the copper giant flagged production cuts from its century-old Los Broncos mine in South America, effectively removing a major copper producer from the global supply. Meanwhile, RWE AG is set to pocket €2.6 billion in compensation from the German government as it advances its coal phase-out to 2030.
