Aldoro Resources (ASX:ARN) has increased the mineral resource for the Kameelburg Project in Namibia, by 85% to 520.61 million tonnes @ 2.49% total rare earth oxide (TREO).
The Kameelburg deposit remains open along strike and at depth. The company says the scope for a substantial increase in the resource and grade exists with the second phase of drilling.
New rigs have arrived at site, with capacity to drill up to 750m. The phase two drilling program is expected to begin in October 2025.
Phase two aims to further enhance the scale of the Kameelburg deposit by drilling to 750m, as well as further drilling to the west which will also target the recently discovered niobium zone.
Chairman Quinn Li says with the implementation of phase two, the company is focusing on unlocking heavy rare earths potential at the Omurango deposit, upgrading the Kameelburg resource, and further enhancing other resources.
“Together, these initiatives are expected to drive substantial additional value growth for the company and position Aldoro at the forefront of global rare earth and niobium development,” Li says.
The Kameelburg Project, located in Southwest Africa, is focused on rare earths and niobium hosted in carbonatites.
Aldoro Resources is mineral explorer and developer focused on critical minerals including rare earth, niobium, lithium, rubidium, and base metals.
