8th Annual Energy and Mines

While the focus of mine decarbonisation has switched from target setting to implementation, the pathways are still far from clear. Most miners are looking to significantly cut emissions at their operations through renewable energy and storage and transition their fleets to battery electric or other low-carbon alternatives. This is a complicated, uncharted transition involving a variety of technologies, strategies, financing structures and collaborations.

“The Decarbonised Mine” is the theme of this 8th annual international Summit which will bring together 700+ mining and decarbonisation experts to benchmark strategies for meeting decarbonisation goals in mining and discuss the challenges for reaching net zero targets. This year’s enhanced agenda features the key topics identified by miners as critical to this stage of the low-carbon transition as well as new interactive formats to enrich networking opportunities and facilitate idea sharing.
