1911 Gold (TSX-V:AUMB) has returned ‘high-grade’ gold intersections from resource definition drilling at the San Antonio West target within its True North Gold Project in Manitoba, Canada.
Results include 1.7m @ 11.31 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 391.1m in hole TN-26-073, including 0.8m @ 16.20g/t Au.
Hole TN-26-082 returned 2.4m @ 6.79g/t Au from 204.4m, including 1.4m @ 7.98g/t Au, as well as a separate 1m @ 3.82g/t Au intersection.
Other results include 3m @ 5.72g/t Au from 327.4m in TN-26-089, including 1.1m @ 9.65g/t Au, and 0.5m @ 11.8g/t Au from 361.4m in TN-26-097.
The assays come from eight surface diamond holes totalling 2,980m. Seven holes reached their target depth and intersected mineralisation within quartz-carbonate shear veins and vein breccias hosted by the San Antonio gabbro.
CEO Shaun Heinrichs says the program has continued to demonstrate the extent of the mineralised vein system.
“We are pleased with the continuity of gold mineralisation and the extent of the mineralised vein system at SAM W, which we have continued to intersect in our resource definition drilling, along with a number of high-grade gold intercepts,” Heinrichs says.
Drilling has now traced continuous mineralisation across 500m of strike and to down-plunge depths exceeding 600m, with the system remaining open at depth.
1911 Gold notes it has completed 34 holes for 9,067m at San Antonio West. Results will support a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the target.
San Antonio West is one of three near-mine targets discovered in 2024, alongside San Antonio Southeast and Shore. The targets occur at higher elevations than the existing True North resource and sit near established mine infrastructure.
Underground drilling from the Hinge decline continues to test depth extensions at San Antonio Southeast, with completion expected by the end of August.
Meanwhile, the company says geological wireframing is underway for all three targets ahead of an updated project-wide MRE scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
